Total Devastation? A Glimmer Of Hope?

Our hearts go out to the many thousands affected by the floods in Queensland particularly SEQ. The footage has been devastating to witness and I know I have been brought to tears many times, not only by the hardships suffered but to see the way we as Aussies have pulled together to help complete strangers. The kindness and compassion shown has made me even prouder to be an Australian and as a fellow volunteer stated “this work is good for the soul”. I couldn’t have summed it up any better myself, my only hope is that those affected by the floods won’t be forgotten and we continue to help in whatever way we can.

February Classes

Copy Cat -  Susan is celebrating Christmas just a wee bit late this month using rich coloured Christmas papers from Bo Bunny’s ‘Noel’ range.

Sketched! - This month’s Sketched! features only photos that are landscape in orientation 1 4x8, 2 4x6 and 1 3x4 for a total of four photographs.

Trend Studio - February’s theme is ‘tapes and trims’. Trimmed to perfection with tapes and gorgeous trims. Bring your paints or inks for a stunning technique using masking tape.

Classy Cards – February is the month of love. Michelle has the feeling covered with love themed cards (but have been assured can be constructed with Birthdays in mind too!!!) using the very cute papers from two of the latest Fancypants ranges. Colours are brown, deep red, charcoal and blue predominantly.

Product Pick – Bold. No room for subtlety in this month’s Product Pick as the kit is made up almost entirely of a black and white colour scheme right down to the very cute embellishments!!

Take 2 - Kerryn gets to experiment with BasicGrey’s new ‘Hopscotch’ range - lucky girl!! Inspiration 101 - January has seen this brand new class off and racing but it’s not too late to join in the fun creating this very unique themed album. An extra class has been added to the timetable to assist with spaces.

With CHA just around the corner we are hanging out to see all the new releases from our favourite companies but to tide us over in the meantime we have recently unpacked the three new BasicGrey ranges.

Hopscotch - a very cute, playful range featuring mint green, salmon pink and pale blue 

Curio - Lyndal died and went to Nana’s upholstery heaven with the release of this range. Her personal favourite! Bold floral prints with an old world charm. Love it!!!

Marjolaine - Made up of blue and green tones, florals and leaves. Melissa raided this range as soon as it hit the store. Be sure to check out her stunning page up on display!
