We’re sure that by now the majority of you would have completed all your Christmas shopping, have all presents wrapped and stacked neatly under the tree, your handmade cards completed and posted and your plum puddings made. So all that you need to do is sit back under the mistletoe sipping a glass of wine, maybe scrapbooking a page or two…..yeah right! They don’t call it the silly season for nothing!!! Christmas is all about family and friends so lucky they make all the extra craziness worthwhile.
January Classes
With the school holidays already upon us we have the kids well and truly looked after with 3 of our children’s classes featured on the January timetable. One is aimed at the teens or those kids with a little more experience, a general kids class and an ‘off the page’ class ‘Box Of Treasures’ in which the kids get to decorate a video tape sized box in which to keep their precious things. A sample can be viewed in-store. It’s very cute!!
We have also scheduled a Scrapbook Basics and Next Step class on in January…so if you’ve always wanted to start scrapbooking and never had the time due to work and other commitments now’s your chance.
Please note that Classy Cards is still featured on a Saturday morning but the night class has changed to a Tuesday night for this timetable as a more convenient option for you. This month also sees an additional Sketched! class has been added to cope with demand. Be sure to book in and see what the team has created.
Between Christmas and New Year we are open reduced hours of 10am-2pm and are offering free crop time during this period. Come join us and escape the bedlam at home. Well, for a little while at least.
Trend Studio - Last month was mini prints but this month it’s all about the impact of enlargements. Find that perfect shot and print it 5x7” or bigger!

New Class Launch
With 2011 fast approaching, why not start the New Year by giving yourself some well-deserved creative time. Gather a group of friends (or make new ones in the process) and invest some quality time and join us at Scrapbooks etc for the launch of this year-long project. This will be a monthly class that will challenge and push you beyond your usual style, towards a truly original album using a mixed media approach. Be completely guided as each month brings new techniques and multiple but unique layers to the album and a place to add all of your precious memories. We would love to fill our workroom with 24 committed people to share our vision. Register your interest and nominate a preferred day for this exciting new class…. INSPIRATION 101!!
