My love of stamping/making cards began over 13 years ago. I started teaching way back in the year 2000 and would have to say I still love it just as much as ever did. Today it is even easier with the thousands of beautiful patterned papers but I do get into anything old/'yesteryear'/any construction whether off the page or little books.

I began scrapbooking as well back in 2002 and it too has taken over my life just as much. I especially love creating 'heritage' pages. I like to edge papers with ink and lots of shabby chic I guess.

I am grateful for the many opportunities that have come my way as a result of loving these crafts and the fantastic friendships i have formed over the years. I do love to help people create and have fun, seeing their smiles and their sense of achievement.

I have always explored different crafts and hobbies but scrapbooking is definitely my one true love. I have been scrapbooking for three years and am smitten with this craft that combines my love of photography with a creative, fun way of preserving my family's memories. I tend to use lots of patterned paper, chipboard, flowers and paint on my layouts and love trying new techniques and products.

I have been very fortunate to have had work published in magazines such as Scrapbooking Memories, Scrapbook Creations, For Keeps, Scrapbook Trends and Creating Keepsakes. I also won an honourable mention in last year's Scrapbooking Memories Masters which was very exciting. My kids love seeing themselves in print and my husband is very proud of his 'mag hag'... I think that's a good thing, right?

I am very excited to be part of the Scrapbooks Etc team and am honoured to be teaching alongside Brisbane 's best.

Scrapbooking has been my creative outlet for many years. I like to do layouts that incorporate multiple photos, texture, dimension and lots of sewing. I also like to challenge myself to create my own embellishments.

Photos are what it’s all about! Ever since I can remember I have loved, loved, loved taking photos. In fact, my catchphrase even when in school was “Stop! Let me get my camera!” and some things never change.

My love of photos is matched only by my addiction to stationery….. I could wander through a stationer for hours. Transfer this to scrapbooking and that explains my obsession with patterned paper. Copious amounts are used on my layouts!! I would say my layouts verge more on the simple side and my motto lately has been ‘just to let go’….so will try anything at least once. Am trying to get the anal side of myself under control and can now accept torn edges and angles on my layouts! I also realise my pages don’t have to be perfect as long as you are having fun while creating!

Though it’s been quite a while since I have sent work into be published, I am honored to have been one of the inaugural Scrapbooking Memories Masters, and to have my work previously published in Creating Keepsakes (US and Aussie versions), For Keeps and Scrapbooking Memories.

I’m proud of the fact that I have been a part of Scrapbooks etc from its inception. Not many people can say that they love coming to work so I’m glad to be part of such an elite group.

I had never thought of myself as arty or even remotely crafty - but since being introduced to scrapbooking in 2002 - I've discovered there is a creative side to me after all! I found the concept of creating memory keepsakes for my family enormously appealing, and instantly felt that this was something I could really have fun with.

I don't think I have a 'signature' style - anything goes really! - and I enjoy using sketches as a starting point when my mojo has wandered off. My three beautiful grown-up daughters and one gorgeous son are the main subjects of my layouts, and I love capturing the 'everyday' moments in their lives.

Since March 2006 I've been a part of the Scrapbooks Etc Team, and have loved every minute of working there. Where else could I find like-minded, scrap-addicted women who can talk about product/supplies/tools/style for hours on end like myself?! A particular highlight for me last year, was being accepted for publication with Scrapbooking Memories magazine. Let's hope they continue to like my work. I admit I do get a little thrill when I receive a commissioning letter (who wouldn't?) but at the end of the day, I scrap to please myself, and that's what really matters :)

I know. Bad photo. I'll work on changing it. I began scrapbooking in June 2006 when I decided to do something creative with a box of photos. It soon evolved into an obsession and I haven't been able to kick the habit.

My style is shabby/eclectic with lots of dimension. I love making a page pop so I like to add different textures.

I began teaching at Scrapbooks etc in April 2007 and since then I've discovered that teaching others is as much fun as the craft itself!

I've been published in For Keeps, Scrapbooking Memories, Scrapbook Creations and Basic Scrapbooking magazines. I was also one of 10 lucky people to win Scrapbooking Memories Masters for 2008! I'm still trying to get my head around the enormity of it and every now and then I can't help but squeal to myself.

I'm proud to be part of the Scrapbooks etc Creative Team.

I have been scrapbooking for 7 years and can easily and proudly say that I have an enormous and ever-growing stash of things to feed my habit. I have my own scrap space and have always scrapped religiously on Friday nights, at Moonlighting or on my own. I really like to power scrap – to do as many layouts as possible as I can during a crop – to do this, I plan and prepare papers and layout ideas before I arrive at the crop.

I like Thickers, hand stitching and using clusters of interesting embellishments. I also enjoy the challenge of coordinating different patterned papers from different manufacturers.

I have been hanging around the crew at Scrapbooks Etc for a few years now, best known as the balloon race barger or the “Bingo winner”. It is an honour and a privilege to join the design team and I look forward to the challenge of creating layouts to share.

For my day job, I run my own business as a Speech Pathologist and am mother to 3 beautiful girls – who are the main subjects of my scrap pages.
